This textbook is devoted to the students of Universities. It includes description of the English pronunciation in Great Britain which is compared with other literary pronunciations. The textbook gives comporative-typological analysis of the vowel and consonant phonemes, syllable structure, word stress and intonation in English, Uzbek and Russian. It uncludes also the glossary of terms in phonetics and phonology in three languages and the list of literature.
